Bike Maintenance:
The Bangkok bike shop LPR has a team of mechanics at most rides ready to fix last minute problems. They don't quote a price for their work, but please give a generous donation if you use their services. They can also take your sick bike away after the ride, restore it to full health and deliver it to your home in Bangkok.  For more major repairs they can be contacted at chusak_grease@hotmail.com or call 08 1101 1391.

Transport to the ride:
For those without their own transport (or bike) SpiceRoads usually arrange a van (minibus) to take bikes and riders to the ride for a very reasonable fee.  They also rent bikes out, but you will have to get your own helmet, pump and spare tube.  Contact them at enquiries@spiceroads.com or call 0 2712 5305.

Misdirections:  Map
Directions from Central Bangkok (driving time 3+ hours).
My directions and mileage are based on crossing the Taksin Bridge since I live very close to it.  If you cross at another bridge you will need to adjust accordingly.
Zero you odometer on the middle of the Taksin Bridge.  For the first 12 kilometers keep to the right.
At 12 kilometers exit right onto highway 9 heading north following the sign towards Nakon Pathom.
At 15 kilometers highway 4 exits left to Nakon Pathom. However, I don’t recommend taking this route as the traffic can get bad on that stretch of 4. Instead, continue on 9 north.
At 22 kilometers turn left on to Boromarajonani road following the sign towards Nakon Pathom.
Continue following signs towards Nakon Pathom. At some point Boromarajonani road will it merge into 4.
At 74 kilometers exit 4 on left onto 323 towards Kanchanaburi.
At 85 kilometers turn right to continue on 323 to Kanchanaburi.
At 126 kilometers turn right onto 323 bypass, following the sign to Sai Yok.
At 177 kilometers turn left on 3343
At 179 kilometers bear left at the fork, the road curves around and down the hill.
At 181 kilometers turn left into Suansri Resort. The sign is in Thai, but you should see the BHHB sign. There is a tennis court on the left as you pull in.
You can also travel to Sai Yok by train. The name of the train station at Sai Yok is Wang Pho. The Suansri Kanokporn Hotel is resort is located only about 2 kilometers from the train station.

Directions from northern Bangkok (driving time 3+ hours).
If you live in the northern suburbs you might find the following route better.
Take the second stage expressway north past Chaeng Wattana Road, and exit at Si Saman Road turning left.
Go straight across Tivanon Road onto Route 307. Zero your odometer at the crossroads.
At 4km go straight across at traffic lights onto the 345 towards Bang Bua Thong.
At 15km follow the road to the left. Keep well into the left hand lane onto the 340.
At 17km take the U-turn bridge for Suphanburi.
At 19km keep in the left hand lane for Suphanburi Route 9.
At 20km fork left onto the 340 for Suphanburi.
At 31km turn left into the 346 towards Bang Len.
At 52km turn right at lights in Bang Len towards Kampangsaen.
At 52.5km turn left at lights onto the 346 towards Kampangsaen.
At 74 km Turn right at lights in Kampangsaen onto the 321 towards Suphanburi.
At 74.3 km turn left at lights onto the 346 towards Phanom Thuan.
